Christmas – a time for reflection and family

2021 has been a very special year around the world.
Starting off with social isolation due to Covid, a glimpse of freedom and relief during summer only to find that our world is starting to shrink again.
Life has been so different than what we are used to.
Covid came with loneliness and suffer.
But it also brought time for reflection. More than ever befor for many of us.
Looking back, how has your 2021 been?
A couple of questions I find interesting to reflect on in the end of a year are:
What are the learnings this year?
What have I found out about myself this year?
What do I want to keep doing, what do I want to remove or do differently?
What have I learned from my mistakes? From my successes?
What am I proud of?
What kind of energy do I want to bring into 2022?
For me personally, 2021 has been a turning point as this is my first year after leaving a career withing finance to follow my heart and become an author.
I left behind a hectic schedule and a high monthly income and security.
I gained freedom and creativity. The power of owning my own time and not to answer to anyone else. I live my life purpose; it sounds like a cliché but that’s the feeling. To have the possibility to touch people’s hearts. To spread insights.
The feeling is nothing but freedom.
I loved my job.
Today I love my life.
A lot of things have become clearer 2021. My core values. What I want to prioritize in regards of relationships. Professionally I have learned that being an author is much more than writing. It´s also promotion and marketing. Discipline and deadlines. One core take away is that stress is something I don’t want to have in my life.
